First T-Ball Game

Sage has started playing T-Ball this year and she loves it!  She is the only girl on her team and she doesn't mind a bit!  Her Coach has been great and Sage really likes playing.  She had her first game a few weeks ago.  We all went to watch her play.  Quinn had fun seeing her sister play but she kept going to the bench and wanted to play as well. After an hour at the game Reese took Quinn home.  We look forward to a fun season!

She had to have a pink helmet and she loves it!

Dance medal

Sage has been taking dance all year and it is coming to an end.  At the last dance class they showcased what have learned this year to the parents and then they each got a a medal from their teacher Ms. Rachel!  Sage has really enjoyed dance this year and has already asked if she can take dance next year.

These Two!

Walking to the bus last week these two were so cute!  They were walking ahead of us and I was trying to get a picture. When I tried to take the picture they stopped and turned around.  This is the picture I got!  Too cute!

Almost done!

The school year is almost done and we are ready for summer!  We have been playing outside every chance we get!  Sage loves to be on the playset and swing.  Both girls hate to come inside whenever we are out playing.

Crazy combinations!

Sage still loves to dress up and last weekend she had this cute outfit on.  I had to snap a quick picture.  Her bow and arrow, eye patch and purse (that Aunt Jane made her and she loves it!).  Plus the one white glove.  Love all the silly combinations of dress up clothes/accessories this girl comes up with!  She still says she wants to be a fashion designer one day.

T-Ball

Sage started T-Ball and she likes it!   She is participating and seems to enjoy it much more than when she played soccer!  She was very excited to get all her equipment for T-Ball.  All we need to get her is her own helmet and she will be good to go. She has two practices a week and then when the games start soon she will only have two games a week and no practices.

Princess Tea Party

Sage and I went to a Princess Tea Party at church a few weeks ago.  It was a really fun afternoon.  When I first heard about the Princess Tea Party I knew Sage would love it and I volunteered to help with the event. I ended up working on the Silent Auction.  It was fun going around to local businesses and asking for donations.  The entire event was a hit!  The auction went well and the tea party was a huge hit with Sage.  She loved all the little snacks that were served and liked the tea.  They had a salon where she got her hair done, nails painted and her face painted.  There was a craft room with fairy crafts, a photo booth and even human candyland - that was my favorite.  It was really fun spending the afternoon with just Sage at such a special event!
Getting glitter sprayed in her hair!

Playing human candyland - so much fun!

She really liked her raspberry tea and asked if
she can have tea at home now!

The tables were set so pretty!  Real china for the
cups, plate and teapots.

Do-rag

Sage has been loving her bandanna from the birthday party a few weeks ago.  Her favorite is when Reese puts on her as a do-rag and she runs around acting like a pirate!

Legwarmers

This girl has been loving her dance class, they do ballet and tap in each class.  The recital is coming up at the end of May.  She is very excited to wear her new costume.  But for now she likes to wear her legwarmers to dance class!

Easter Eggs

We went to Shelley and Tyler's for Easter.  We got there late Thursday night.  We were so excited to see them and to see their house!  This was the first time we had seen their house since they moved in last April.  It is a beautiful house and they are getting settled and making it a home!  My parents arrived Friday afternoon to absolute delight of all the gandkids!  We dyed Easter eggs Friday night and the kids loved it.  Quinn was already in bed so she missed out on the fun - always next year!

Egg Hunt Fun

Sage and I went to an Egg Hunt this past Sunday.  It was put on by our new friends Dana and Josh.  We had so much fun! We wished Quinn and Daddy had been able to come to, but since Quinn wasn't feeling good they stayed home.  The egg hunt was at a gymnastics gym.  The kids first did the hunt and then got to play on all the gymnastics equipment.  Sage loved all the gymnastics equipment.  I can see some gymnastics lessons in our future.  Sage came home with all sorts of goodies: personalized Easter bucket and cup and all the stuff inside the eggs.  She loved it!
Getting ready to hunt for eggs!

Each kid was given a certain color egg to look for.  It made it really fun!

Sage had the color red and had so much fun finding her red eggs!

After they hunted the eggs they lined up and handed their buckets off to the parents and went and played!

There was tons of cute decorations for the party and these giants Peeps were my favorite!

Look at that air!

She loved this bar!

Spring - Maybe???

It has been beautiful here the past few days in the low 60's!   We have been plying outside every chance we get!   That is why Sage's cheeks are all red.  She was running around outside.  Spring might be here, but you never know we could get snow again!

100 Days

Sage and her class celebrated the 100th day of school last week.  Their teacher dressed up and decorated the classroom. Each of the kids made a 100 Day cape to wear.  Sage picked out four things to decorate her cape with:  googly eyes, buttons, jewels, and puff balls.  I was at school the morning of the 100th day volunteering so I got a few pictures.  Sage was more than a little bummed that some of her stuff had fallen off her cape.  But she still managed to have a fun day!

Friday at School

Sage had a busy day at school on Friday.  They celebrated Valentine's Day with a party in her classroom and they also had a big fundraiser for the American Heart Association - Jump Rope for Heart.  I volunteered in her classroom that morning and then Quinn and I came back to volunteer for the Jump Rope event.
Here is Sage in action at my station at the Jump Rope for Heart.  Quinn was really good that morning at school.  She played with toys, talked to the kids and played on the iPad.

When Sage got home she had to show me all the valentine's she got at school.  She was so excited about the box she decorated and all of her loot!   She came home with way to much.

After School Snack

Sage was so excited to have hot chocolate as her after school snack on Friday.  It was a gift from Miranda's baby shower.  They gave us hot chocolate mix, marshmallows and a spoon dipped in chocolate and sprinkles!  Sage was loving it!

So big!

Sage had Monday off from school.  It was nice to have her home for the day.  She told me she wanted to go to the aquarium for the day.  So we did!  We did a little shopping as well and stopped to have a snack.  I snapped this picture of her and she looks so big to me.

Two Front Teeth

Sage was a few weeks late for "all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!"  Her tooth was so loose and she wouldn't let us pull it.  One of the roots was hanging for a few weeks.  Her tooth finally fell out last week.  She now has a very big gap waiting for the teeth to come in.  She was very excited for the tooth fairy to visit again.  This makes a total of five teeth that Sage has lost.

Puppet Show

Last weekend Reese and I went out for dinner and a movie.  We had a new babysitter watch the girls.  Her name is Kristen and the girls loved her!   She arrived when Quinn was napping so she and Sage did some crafts.  One of those crafts was making puppets!  Sage loved them and loved even more that she got to put on a puppet show for us the next day.  Kristen is already scheduled for our next date night!

Making Cards

Sage was getting all creative this past weekend making Great Grandma a birthday card.  I realized I was a little late in getting a card for Great Grandma so Sage decided to make her one!  She had fun decorating it and writing out the song Happy Birthday (she spelled all the words on her own - correctly!)  Love our creative girl!
