ExerSaucer

Sage has a new toy to keep her occupied!  She tried out the ExerSaucer this weekend and loved it!  I am not sure what she liked more - standing, her feet touching the bottom or all the fun toys.  I have a feeling she and I are both going to like this ExerSaucer!   A big thank you goes out to Jim and Stefanie who gave us the exersaucer!

Time with Nana!

Here is Sage enjoying some quality time with Nana.   We had a great visit with Nana and Papa - we can't wait to see you next month. 

Sweet Potatoes

Sage had her first taste of real food on Friday - Sweet potatoes!  She really seemed to like them.  We had a great time watching her eat.  It was nice that Nana and Papa were here to experience it to!  She enjoyed it so much she got sweet potatoes all over herself!  Bath time was fun that night:)

Ready for Summer

Nana, Sage and I met Shelley, Corvin and Brady yesterday to shop and have lunch.  We met at a mall halfway between Shelley's house and our house.  It was only a 1.5 hour trip - not to bad!  We had a great time seeing the boys - especially Nana!   While we were shopping I got Sage a few things for summer - a sun hat and a pair of sunglasses.  As you can see from the pictures, she loves her new sunglasses!

Date Night

Reese and I had our first date night since Sage was born.   We went to a concert last night and had a great time!  We saw David Gray and it was a fabulous show!  We even went out to dinner before the concert.  My parents are visiting and they watched Sage for us.  Here is a shot of  us before we left for the night.  Sage was really good for Nana and Papa.   She even went right down for them at bedtime - I am sure she was tired from all the good playtime she had with Nana and Papa! 

Beautiful Saturday

We had a nice day on Saturday with Kelly and Jason.  We met for lunch at a yummy pizza place and then went for a walk.  It was beautiful, in the mid 60's and sunny!   Spring has arrived.  Kelly brought Sage two adorable summer outfits.  Thanks Kelly!

First Cereal!

Sage had her first taste of cereal yesterday.  As you can see from the pictures below it went pretty well.  She seemed to enjoy it most of the time.  While she enjoyed the feeding process, the taste of the cereal not so much.  We are excited as we start this next chapter of her life - food!

Birthday Celebration

We had a very special birthday celebration this weekend.  My Aunt Sandy's birthday was yesterday and almost all of the girls in our family were here to celebrate.  It was a surprise for Aunt Sandy, her daughter Elizabeth planned it for her.  This weekend had been in the works since July!  Amazing that we all kept the secret and it was a surprise to Sandy that we were all here to celebrate her.  We had a great weekend!   Here are some pictures of the celebration.

Four Months

Happy four months Sage!  We love you!!

Future Babysitter

We had our good friends Brian and Melissa over last Saturday.  Their kids Kylie and Cole had so much fun with Sage!  We really enjoyed a night of hanging out and playing the Wii.  There was even a late night run for pizza - only if you consider 9pm late!  Kylie was really good with Sage and had fun holding her.  Melissa  also enjoyed Sage and put her to bed that night.  We are very lucky to have such good friends here and they live right across the street!

Toes!

Sage found her toes tonight!   It was so cute watching her.  She was playing with Reese and all of a sudden grabbed her toes.  We have had a good week so far.  Sage has slept through the night 3 nights in a row - we are hoping for four in a row tonight! 
 

New size...

Sage has moved up a size in clothes!  She is now in the 3-6 months size.  This is big news in our household!   She is continuing to grow at her own speed.  She is now 12lbs., 4 oz. as of Monday.   Our little girl is getting bigger.  She looked sooooo long in her new outfit today.  Here are a few pictures from this evening.

Sleeping

For the two nights we were at Shelley's Sage slept through the night!  We are hoping this is a new trend.  She has slept through the night before, but not since she has been sick.  I had to get a picture of her in Brady's crib where she got her good sleep!

  

Traveling

We have spent the last few days at Shelley and Tyler's.  What a fun few days!  Reese is traveling for work so I packed Sage up and we headed to Illinois.  Here are a few pictures from the last few days.  We are heading home today and we are excited to see Daddy/Reese!

 

  

 

Hats

There are so many cute hats for little girls.  We already have about ten hats for Sage - most of them gifts.  I admit I have bought a few for her!  Let's hope she continues to wear the hats and like wearing them.   I know pretty soon she will be at the stage where pulling the hats off will be fun!   But for now I enjoy seeing our cutie in her hats!
