Bike Ride

Last Saturday it was in the 50's!   We enjoyed some time outside and Sage wanted to ride her bike.  She has been on it outside only one time before.  So she was really excited!   She had so much fun riding up and down our street. 

Puddles

Last week we had some beautiful weather it was in the low 40's - it felt like a heat wave!  We went out for a walk two days in a row.  It was so nice to be outside.  One day Rebecca, Lydia and Cora joined us on our walk.  We put the babies in front packs and the girls walked along and jumped into every puddle they could find.  It took three days for Sage's boots to dry out!

Snowman Crafts

One afternoon when we were stuck in the house I got out a bunch of crafts for Sage - it was Snowman Day!  She had so much fun making all of her snowmen!   I just hope we don't get much more snow this winter.  We have had enough!   We are ready for Spring and to be outside.

 

 Not a snowman craft but since we had the marshmallows out I figured it would be a good activity and she loved it!

Valentine's Day

I always try to make meals on holidays fun for Sage.  She was so excited when she saw her strawberries cut into hearts for breakfast!  I tried to put the raspberries into a heart shape for lunch and she loved the heart cut out of her quesadilla! 

School Valentine's

I am usually on top of things and very organized but this year Valentine's Day snuck up on me.  I was printing Sage's valentines for school the night before.  We ended up doing the same valentines as we did last year.  It was a picture of a fishbowl and you add in goldfish crackers.  Sage was all for that as she got to eat the extra goldfish.  She had fun signing her name to all the valentines!  It was fun to watch her go through all her goodies from school.

Two Months!

This post is a few weeks late - Quinn is now 10 weeks!   She is getting so big and interacting with us more and more each day.  I love to see her change!  She now weighs 11lbs, 11ozs (50%), and is 23.5 inches tall (75%), her head is 15.5 inches (75%).  Our baby girl is getting so big!   As of the last few days she has been sleeping through the night from 9pm - 6am.    If she gets up, it is only once around 3am.  This Momma is loving her sleep again!  She is still nursing and taking a bottle.  When she takes a bottle it is about 4 ounces.  She is smiling lots, and Reese can really get her giggling.  Which is the best sound!  She loves her baths and would sit all day and look at any of our ceiling fans!

First Big Outing!

We went to the Children's Museum last week and it was a big day.  It was my first big outing with both girls.  We ended up staying for lunch and Sage skipped her nap.  She was ready to crash by the time we left the museum.  Quinn did good too!   She slept most of the day.  A big thanks to Tracey and Bev for being in charge of Sage when I had to feed Quinn!  Thanks to Tracey for these pictures!

Valentine's Day Presents!

Sage and Quinn are very lucky girls they got Valentine's Day presents from Mimi & Pop-Pop, Aunt Terri & Uncle Nick, and Nana & Papa.  When the present from Nana and Papa arrived Sage couldn't wait to start using it!   Here she is right after it came out of the box - no waiting for this girl.  She gets her patience from me!

Hearts!

I went out to lunch with some friends while Sage was at preschool on Thursday.  It was nice to get out and Quinn slept the whole time.  It helped that she was being held almost the entire time we were out.  She looked so cozy in this thermal outfit and her hat.  Since it has been such a cold winter she had been bundled up lots!

Crazy Outfit!

Sage was playing dress up the other day and she had so many colors and patterns on we had to get a few pictures.  Here is our colorful girl!

My favorite part was her superhero mask that she had on backwards so all you see is the elastic going over her forehead and not the mask!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Last week I made Sage a heart quesadilla.  She helped me make it, she loves to help out in the kitchen.  She kept wanting to put more cheese on it!  We hope you all have a fun Valentine's Day! 

Heart Donuts

Most of you know my love for all holidays and Valentine's Day is no exception!   I have had the house decorated for Valentine's Days since mid-January!  Well I saw that Dunkin Donuts has heart donuts.  I had to go get one for Sage.  What kid doesn't love donuts!  Of course she loved the donut.  She even shared a few bites with me!

Here is Miss Quinn smiling away!   She was a happy girl as we waited for Sage to get done with her first dance class. 

Dance Class

Sage has been asking for months to take a dance class.  We found one that is just seven weeks long.  It has ballet, jazz, and tap - two weeks of each and then a show for the parents during the last class.  She was so excited for her first class and she loved it!

Quinn was just chatting away the other night with Reese.  So I grabbed my phone and took a few videos of her.  Here is my favorite one.  Love this chatty girl!

Snow Day Activities

We stayed home on Wednesday due to the snow.  So I had to come up with some activities for Sage.  She worked on writing her letters and numbers, using scissors, matching upper and lower case letters, and an art project.  

I was feeding Quinn while Sage did this heart.  I drew the heart for her and left out the buttons and jewels for her.   I think she did a great job!

Those cheeks!

We got almost 10 inches of snow here yesterday morning.  Needless to say we stayed home for the day.  It was a pajama day for us girls!  I was trying to catch Quinn smiling yesterday morning.  This is what I got - I just love those chubby cheeks and her spiky hair!

More Snow!

We got a few more inches of snow over the weekend.  Reese was out shoveling and Sage was out playing.  They were outside for almost 2 hours.  Sage had such red cheeks when she came inside.  I ran out and got a few pictures of them playing in the snow. 

Getting big

Miss Quinn is getting big!  I weighed her yesterday and she is 10lbs, 14oz!  Time is flying by and we are loving every minute! 

Soccer!

Sage has been asking for months to play soccer.  We finally found a time that was good for our schedule and signed her up.  She has been loving it!  Reese and I went the first week it was right before Quinn was born and since then Reese has been taking her.  Well this past weekend we all went.  It was fun to see her in action out on the field.  There is only a few weeks left of this session and she says she wants to continue on to the next level.
