Hands!

Last Friday after school I was working out and the girls were watching a show. I was finished with my workout and walked around the corner and saw this.  Quinn was very into her show!

First Dentist Appointment

Quinn had her first dentist appointment a few weeks ago and I wasn't sure how it was going to go.  She had been there earlier in the week and had watched my dental appointment.  To my pleasant surprise Quinn did great!  She sat in the chair, let the hygienist count her teeth, and then even let her polish a few of them!  She did awesome!

First T-Ball Game

Sage has started playing T-Ball this year and she loves it!  She is the only girl on her team and she doesn't mind a bit!  Her Coach has been great and Sage really likes playing.  She had her first game a few weeks ago.  We all went to watch her play.  Quinn had fun seeing her sister play but she kept going to the bench and wanted to play as well. After an hour at the game Reese took Quinn home.  We look forward to a fun season!

Goggles

Quinn was looking through the junk door the other day and found her sisters goggles.  She wanted to wear them and was so excited to put them on.  She walked around the house for awhile wearing these goggles!  We need to get her into swim lessons so she can wear these goggles!

Dance medal

Sage has been taking dance all year and it is coming to an end.  At the last dance class they showcased what have learned this year to the parents and then they each got a a medal from their teacher Ms. Rachel!  Sage has really enjoyed dance this year and has already asked if she can take dance next year.

Art Class!

Quinn and I started an Art Class last week!  It is a four week class and is held at a local art and ceramic studio.  The first week they were very unprepared for a bunch of toddlers!  I am hoping next week is better.  Quinn was able to pick out a ceramic piece to paint and then they will glaze it for us!  She had four colors to paint with but she ended up mixing them all together.  She loved it and so did I!

These Two!

Walking to the bus last week these two were so cute!  They were walking ahead of us and I was trying to get a picture. When I tried to take the picture they stopped and turned around.  This is the picture I got!  Too cute!

Siri

Quinn was playing with her toy cell phone one morning last week and she was pushing the button and told Siri "Call Nana".  She really wanted to talk to her Nana that morning!

Freddie & the girls!

While Julie was traveling last week Freddie came over each morning before school.  The girls loved it!  They play so well together and the girls were so excited each morning when Fred dropped Freddie off.

Dinner with Friends

Fred and Freddie came over for dinner last week while Julie was traveling.  Quinn loves her time with Miss Julie and was missing her.  When Fred and Freddie walked in she kept looking for Julie and calling out for her!  So cute!  The kids had dinner first and then we sat down - but Quinn wanted to join us.  She wouldn't leave Fred alone.  And finally he was done and he could play with her!

Almost done!

The school year is almost done and we are ready for summer!  We have been playing outside every chance we get!  Sage loves to be on the playset and swing.  Both girls hate to come inside whenever we are out playing.

Apron!

One day last week Quinn and I stayed home all day!  No errands or appointments to run.  It was nice to just be home.  We did lots of activities that day!  Her favorite was the painting.  She also got to wear an apron and she thought that was pretty fun! 

Playtime at the Park!

The weather is taking its sweet time warming up this Spring.  It has been rainy and in the 50's most days.  Quinn and I are still taking advantage of the days that are sunny!  We went to the park last week and we had it almost to ourselves!   She was a little hesitant on the slides.  I had to go down with her on each of the slides and then she would do down on her own.  We had a fun morning!

Crazy combinations!

Sage still loves to dress up and last weekend she had this cute outfit on.  I had to snap a quick picture.  Her bow and arrow, eye patch and purse (that Aunt Jane made her and she loves it!).  Plus the one white glove.  Love all the silly combinations of dress up clothes/accessories this girl comes up with!  She still says she wants to be a fashion designer one day.

Fingers

This girl keeps me on my toes!  Last week I noticed her thumb was peeling.  It didn't look bad and I figured it would heal quickly - was I wrong!  A few days later I looked and all of her fingers were starting to peel.  I took her to the doctor and he prescribed a cream and they have healed nicely.  The doctor also wanted to put her on an antibiotic but didn't give me a good reason for it.  She had just been on an antibiotic when she was sick a month ago.  He said to test for strep and if it was negative (which it was) no antibiotic.  So, only a cream to help her fingers heal!  She didn't let her hands bother her from playing and having a good week!

All by Herself!

We had a busy week last week - lots of stuff going on that Quinn was dragged to.  I wanted her to have some fun so we went to an indoor playground.  She ran all over the place and for the first time - all by herself!  I didn't have to climb up and help her, she was all good on her own.  She is getting so big! 

Halfway through playing I called her over and put her hair in a ponytail.  She was so hot and her cheeks were bright red.  She kept right on playing!

Pirate Quinn

The girls love these red bandanas they got at a birthday party.  Ever since the party we have had pirates running around our house!  Quinn wanted Daddy to play pirates one night last week.  It was so cute I had to get a few pics!

T-Ball

Sage started T-Ball and she likes it!   She is participating and seems to enjoy it much more than when she played soccer!  She was very excited to get all her equipment for T-Ball.  All we need to get her is her own helmet and she will be good to go. She has two practices a week and then when the games start soon she will only have two games a week and no practices. 

Nice Weather

Spring is finally here and two weekends ago it was beautiful!  High 70's and sunshine - I even had to dig around and find our sunscreen!  Saturday morning we went for a family walk!  Sage rode her bike, Reese and I walked, and Quinn rode in her car for most of the walk.  She insisted on getting out and walking but then got back in her car because she was tired.  When we got home we all loaded up in the car and went to a coffee shop for a treat.  They have a huge patio and it was so nice to sit outside in the sun!  After coffee we went home and the girls played outside and Reese and I cleaned our cars.  It was a very productive day!

Princess Tea Party

Sage and I went to a Princess Tea Party at church a few weeks ago.  It was a really fun afternoon.  When I first heard about the Princess Tea Party I knew Sage would love it and I volunteered to help with the event. I ended up working on the Silent Auction.  It was fun going around to local businesses and asking for donations.  The entire event was a hit!  The auction went well and the tea party was a huge hit with Sage.  She loved all the little snacks that were served and liked the tea.  They had a salon where she got her hair done, nails painted and her face painted.  There was a craft room with fairy crafts, a photo booth and even human candyland - that was my favorite.  It was really fun spending the afternoon with just Sage at such a special event!

Do-rag

Sage has been loving her bandanna from the birthday party a few weeks ago.  Her favorite is when Reese puts on her as a do-rag and she runs around acting like a pirate!

Cuddles

After brunch we came home and put the fire on.  We had gotten over an inch of snow while we were at brunch.  We were all cold and needed to warm up!  The girls were so cute cuddling by the fire.

We went to brunch a few weeks ago to end our Spring Break. We went with Fred, Julie, and Freddie.  While we were waiting for them I took a few pictures.  We had a great time as usual!  Who wouldn't like unlimited mimosa's!  We all came home and took a nap.

Colors

We have been working on colors with Quinn and recently got this puzzle.  She loves it but every color we ask her is green.  Working on it! 

Quinn's First Friend Birthday Party

We went to a birthday party last weekend.  It was for Quinn's friend Lukas.  It was her first friend birthday party!  It was a train theme and it was so much fun!  There was a train set up with boxes and each kid got to decorate their train car and then they went to Baggage Claim to get a conductor hat, bandanna and train whistle.  They all then got in their train cars for a picture.  we all enjoyed the party!
