Fun Faces

We had a great time up north but I didn't get to many pictures.  Shelley took some good ones on Thanksgiving when she sends them to me I will post a few.  Here are two pictures I took of Sage when we were home for the holiday.  I have been capturing some fun faces of Sage these past few weeks.  Not getting her smiling but making some cute faces!  At least I think they are cute!

Bath Time!

Tonight both Sage and Brady needed a bath so they had bath time together!  They were both really good and had fun.  It was a quick bath but we had to snap a few pictures!

Favorites...

This picture is from Sunday afternoon when Sage was sick.  She sat and watched football with Reese for 30 minutes.  Our beautiful girl never sits still for that long, she was really not feeling good.  She seems to be back to normal, except for the four teeth she has coming in.

Stroller

Sage got a stroller and baby doll from Aunt Shelley for her birthday.  Shelley has fun buying girly things since she has two boys.  Well I just got the stroller out today and Sage was having fun with it.  She isn't tall enough to push it standing up so she pushes it from her knees!

We got family pictures taken a few weeks ago and love them!   They turned out great!  We really enjoyed the photographer, Kristen.  Here is one of my favorites from our photo shoot.  Enjoy!

Birthday Part II

Another bright spot on Sage's birthday was a new toy she got from my cousin Theresa.  She loves this new toy, it is a battery powered Barbie ATV.  We operate it for her now, but I am pretty sure, soon she will doing it all on her own.  Thank you Theresa for all your wonderful gifts for Sage!   She is having lots of fun with them:)   Take note of Sage's pajamas, this was her third pair for the day.  Poor girl - Sunday was a long day.  What a way to spend your first birthday.

She looks pretty determined in this picture!

She was having so much fun!

Birthday Part I

We had a very fun day planned for Sage on her birthday.  First we were going to go to church and she was going to wear her cute pink birthday dress.  Then home for a nap and then lunch with neighbors, pizza, cake and ice cream.  How fun!   Well, things didn't go according to plan.  Sage got up and didn't really want to drink her bottle, but she eventually finished it.  I had just gotten dressed and Reese was playing with her on the floor.  She was playing for about 30 seconds and threw up.  I grabbed a towel to clean it up and she promptly threw up all over me from head to toe.  It was even in my hair.   By 8:00am yesterday I had already had two showers.  So we called all the neighbors and canceled lunch, skipped church and all got into comfy clothes for the day.   There were a few bright spots in the day and one of them was the mail.  We had forgotten to get our mail on Saturday so I got it yesterday morning.  There was a birthday card in there from Great Grandma & Great Grandpa K.  She had tons of fun opening the card and playing with the envelope!

Happy Birthday Sage!

It is amazing to me that it is already Sage's birthday.  How quickly one year passes.  Sage has brought so much joy to us this past year.  We are so lucky to have her in our lives.

Things I want to remember about our girl at one:
-  She is always such a happy girl and loves to play by herself or with others
-  Her favorite game is chase (she loves to be chased by Daddy)
-  Her purse is her favorite toy and she especially loves her pink cell phone
-  She loves books and will sit with us and read forever!
-  Bath time is so much fun and she loves it!
-  She is not a great eater but we are slowly getting better - guacamole is one of her favorites, only if there are spices in it!
-  She is starting to drink milk out of a sippy cup
-  When she wakes up she is all smiles and cuddles for a few minutes - but only a few, she's a busy girl
-  She also cuddles with us when she does something wrong - it so cute!

I could go on forever about this beautiful girl.  I am so thankful to be her Mommy and I enjoy each and every day with her.

We love you Sage!   Happy 1st Birthday!

Beautiful Weather!

It has been beautiful here this week!  We have had four days in the 70's!  Sage and I have been loving it.  We have spent lots of time outside this week.  This picture is from our trip up to the neighborhood playground.  She had so much fun on the swings.  We took a few trips down the slide as well.  But she didn't like that as much as she liked the swing!  Here is our happy girl!  She is cutting four teeth right now and she is still smiling.  I hope the teeth come quick.

Outside

This is one of Sage's favorite activities these days.  To crawl over to the sliding glass door and to look outside.  She goes back and forth from holding on to her booster seat to the door.  She loves to look outside and I think she loves standing up as well!   She is always on the move!

Hand-me-downs!

I love hand-me-downs!   We have been really fortunate and gotten a ton of hand-me-downs given to us.  They have been worn by friends little ones or cousins.  If I remember right the outfit Sage is wearing in this picture came from Jim and Stefanie.  They have two girls who I am pretty sure both used this fleece.  I love it!   I put Sage in this for our walks and I don't have to worry about her getting cold.  The coldest we have been out for a walk is 36 degrees.  It was a chilly walk but when we got home all that was cold on Sage were her cheeks and her nose!  This picture is from our walk yesterday afternoon - it was in the 50's.  I love staying home with Sage and being able to take walks with her in the middle of the day!

Climbing

Sage is climbing onto everything these days, the stairs, the furniture and even her rocking chair.  I have to help her with the rocking chair.  It moves a little to much for her to get in by herself.  She is getting around more easily now and is walking around with us holding her hands.  Here she is in the rocking chair, she was laughing and giggling but I couldn't get a good picture of her, so this will have to do!

Sage's First Halloween!

We had a great time on Sage's first Halloween!  She had an adorable costume - thank you Terry.  I thought Sage was the cutest lady bug ever!  Nana was here to celebrate Halloween with us, but when we were taking pictures Nana was handing out candy.  Terry's house was our first stop, then we stopped at Sharon's and then went on to Chief Millers house.  We had a great time at all of our stops.  By the time we got home Sage was so tired we didn't even go around to any of our neighbors.   Reese put Sage down for the night and Mom and I handed out candy.  The three of us went over to Matt and Jen's for a few cocktails - the baby monitor still works across the street so we had Sage covered.  What a fun night!

Reese and Sage hanging out at Terry's.

Sage says, "Thanks Terry for my cute costume!"

Sage looked so cute as  ladybug!

This was right before she went to bed, she was a tired girl.  But I love when she cuddles with me!
