Bath time fun!

Sage loves her bath!   Each night we ask her if she wants to go take her bath she says yes and takes off for the stairs.  Here is a video of her crawling to the tub.  We love that she has so much fun in the tub.  It makes bath time fun for all of us. 

Walking on Knees

Sage is getting closer to walking and is loving it!   She has been getting better at balancing by walking around on her knees.  It is very cute!  She will fake us out to think that she will actually walk toward us -  but instead she will come at us on her knees!

Magnets

I got out a new toy for Sage - alphabet magnets for the refrigerator.  She was loving them and so was I, until I noticed the giant scratch on our fridge.  I am not kidding it is about a foot long.  So, as much as she loved her new toy it has come down, but I did snap a few shots of her playing.  Now I need to find someplace else for the toy...

My Little Cupcake!

I love these new pajamas and had to take a picture of Sage in them.  She was playing and wasn't to happy to stop and get her picture taken.   But she continued on playing and having a good time!  She looks so serious!

More Steps!

Sunday afternoon we were watching the Bears football game and playing with Sage.  She took some more steps that day!  Sage would stand up out of her chair and put her arms up in the air and take a few steps toward either us.  It was so cute - she would stand up from the chair and wouldn't use her arms.  This was the first time I saw her take a few steps and I have to admit I had some tears - my baby is growing so quickly!   We didn't get it on video, I was to busy crying.  But we did get a few steps on video last night.  Enjoy the video!  This is my first attempt at putting a video on the blog so I hope it works!

New Outfit & Toy

Sage was playing the other day and she looked so cute!   I had to snap a few pictures!   She was in a new outfit from Nana and Papa and playing with her shape sorter.  Both the outfit and the shape sorter were from Nana and Papa for Christmas - Thank you!  The outfit is an 18 month outfit and I only had to roll the waist band of the pants once and it fits great.  We are slowly transitioning to 18 month clothes.   I would say half of the stuff she wears is 12 month and the other half is 18 month!  My little peanut!

Fun Afternoon

We went to the Children's Museum yesterday afternoon and met Bev and Case there.  What a fun afternoon!   The kids had a great time and so did the Moms!  We hadn't seen Bev and Case since Christmas.  Way to long!  We had fun in the playscape play area and even had a music performance to entertain us.  The water table was a hit, the carousel was a hit after it started moving!  Thanks for a great afternoon!

Bear Update

I realized it had been a long time for me to get a picture of Sage with her bear.  So on Monday I got a few shots.  Here is my favorite.  She wouldn't sit still for very long!  She is always on the go!  I almost forgot to mention on Friday night while I was running errands Sage took a few steps.  Of course I missed it:(   This is the first time she has taken any steps on her own.  We shall see how far off walking is!

Belated Christmas Gathering

We were at Shelley and Tyler's this past weekend to have a belated Christmas Gathering.  My parents came down and we all had lots of fun!   All the kids had a good time, it is always fun to see how Sage and Brady relate to each other.  Here are a few pictures from the weekend.  Thanks for hosting Shelley & Tyler!

New Kitchen

Sage got a Laugh and Learn Kitchen from Mimi and Pop-Pop for Christmas and she loves it!   I bring it into the kitchen when I am cooking and Sage cooks in her own kitchen.  This picture is from this morning, I was making breakfast and Sage was cooking too!  Can't wait until we can cook together!

Learning

It is so fun each day to watch Sage learn new things!   She catches on to things so quickly.  She now knows where her ears and belly are - quite an accomplishment:)   Yesterday on her ride on toy she learned how to go backwards and she was so impressed with herself - waving as she went away!  She loves to turn off the computer and pull out the cords - especially when I am trying to blog!  The hamper has been very exciting in our master bath.  She loves to open it and has only smashed her fingers in it once, so far!    

New Chair!

We got Sage's chair in the mail on Monday from Faith and Russ.  I had it set up for her when she got up from her nap.  Her very short nap of 30 minutes. Not sure what is going on these days but Sage's morning and afternoon naps keep getting shorter and shorter.  I am lucky if we get 45 minutes each nap.  They used to each be 1.5 hours.  Anyway, back to the chair - she loves it!  She sat in it after her nap, after dinner and before bed.  She can't get enough of her new chair.  Here she is in her new chair!

Favorites

This is one of my favorite pictures from Christmas!   It was the first day we got to Russ and Faith's and the kids were playing.  Sage looked so cute in her outfit - you can't see it but the shirt has an adorable gingerbread girl on the front.  It is the same outfit in the New Years post.  Thanks Aunt Lynne for Sage's cute outfit!

Bad Hair Day

This is what greeted us this morning!   Sage's hair was so messy I had to get the camera and snap a few pictures!  She was very happy when she woke up this morning.  For the first time in almost a week she woke up without a fever.   YEAH!!!!  She still has a runny nose and is coughing alot but she might be starting to get better.  Here is our happy girl!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  We had a very quiet New Year's Eve at home as a family!   Sage went down around 7:30 and Reese and I enjoyed a few cocktails.  We are all still sick, so it was a low key day and night, around the house.  We managed to have some fun to celebrate the New Year as you can see in the pictures below.
