Bunny!

Sage and I had lots of fun making this Easter Bunny craft.  Her favorite part was gluing all the cotton balls onto the paper plate.  Trying to get a picture of her holding the bunny was interesting.  She kept wanting to hold the bunny so she could look at it!   I finally got her to show it to me so I could snap a picture and it took over 20 pictures to get a good one!

Shapes

This is what we have been up to the last week - shapes!   Sage knows her shapes, but I thought it would be good to have some activities to do for each shape.  We colored these together, I would cut them out and she would put the glue on.  She had so much fun with the glue stick!  It has really helped make the days go by having crafts/activities planned for Sage.   She likes to walk by the refrigerator and yell out the shapes she sees!

Soccer Ball

Reese and Sage were playing outside on Sunday afternoon and all we had was a beach ball for them to kick around.  Sage kept asking for another ball to use so after dinner we went and got Sage a new soccer ball.   She had a hard time deciding between the blue or purple soccer ball.  As you can see from the picture below that purple won out!   Sage loves her new soccer ball!  When she cuddled up to Reese to watch a show last night, she had to bring her soccer ball along as well!

The news

Every morning Sage comes into our room after she wakes up.  We watch the news and then Sage gets to watch a show.  When I went and got her yesterday morning she was all excited to go see Daddy.  She climbed right up to watch the news. She looks pretty comfortable to me!

Pom-Poms

Sage had swimming lessons yesterday morning, she and Reese had lots of fun!   After swimming lessons we needed to keep her occupied.  She was very tired and just wanted to take a nap!  We had thunderstorms Friday night that kept her awake, she was up 2 hours past her bedtime.  She told me "Mommy, storms scare me."  Poor kiddo.  So to keep her busy we brought out the pom-poms and tongs - it worked.  She was loving the tongs and for using them for only a few days has almost mastered them!

Fun to use your hands to!

By the way - it is so nice to have Reese back at home.  He was gone for 8 days and we are both so happy he is home again!

Counting Bears

I ordered these counting bears for Sage from Amazon and they arrived last night.  She loves them!   She has already played with them four times since 5pm Friday evening.  As soon as she got downstairs this morning she was asking for her bears!  I see many hours of time spent counting/sorting these bears.

Egg Carton

Who knew how much fun an egg carton could be?   Sage had lots of fun this morning playing with an egg carton and some colorful pegs from one of her toys.  I had her put all the same color pegs in the carton, then she would take them out and start all over again.  It kept her busy for quite awhile.  Her favorite part was closing the egg carton and jumping all over and shaking it!

Crafts at School

They do lots of crafts at Sage's school.  She loves it and I love the craft projects that come home.  They usually hang on the refrigerator for a week until the next craft project comes home.  Last week they made two St. Patrick's Day crafts, a necklace and a magnet.  I got some pictures of Sage wearing her necklace yesterday.  We are a little behind - meant to do this on St. Patrick's Day.  Better late than never!

I had to include this picture - she was dancing in the living room and having so much fun!   It shows off her adorable summer outfit - love the skirt.  I can't believe it is the middle of March and we are wearing summer clothes.  It was a high of 84 yesterday.   Makes me wonder how hot summer is gong to be.

Sunglasses

Sage loves wearing my sunglasses but they never stay on for long.  We were out shopping Friday and finally got her some sunglasses.  We always seems to lose them or break them.  So, we got four pairs of sunglasses.  Love the Children's Place sunglasses - each pair was only $2.50.  My kind of bargain!  Here she is in her new sunglasses.

Swimming

We started Sage in swimming lessons a few weeks ago and she loves it!   Reese took her the first two lessons and I took her this weekend.  She loves being in the pool and had lots of fun during the lessons.  She looked so cute I had to snap a few pictures before we left for the pool.

Her hair is getting so long!   She pulled this flower hair tie out of my drawer and wanted to wear it.  She kept her ponytail in all throughout the lesson.

Pillows

After Sage got up from her nap today she asked if she could watch a show in our room.  Sure - she watched a show and I got to get ready.  Worked for me!   She was having so much fun on our bed.  After I changed her diaper she headed straight for all the pillows on our bed.  She wouldn't even let me put her pants back on her.  Here she is getting comfortable on all the pillows, she is definitely an independent little thing!

Weekend Fun!

We had a girls weekend in Chicago - and we had tons of fun!   We were there celebrating my Mom and Patty's 60th birthdays!  We had lots of good food, great conversation, and tons of laughs.   I also got to see one of my best friends that lives in the city.   Elise joined us for dinner on Saturday with her new man - we all loved him!  Thanks girls for such a great weekend.

My girl!

I was gone this weekend and I love coming home to this girl!   It was only the third time I had been a away from Sage.  I had lots of fun and will post pictures of our adventures soon.  But for now here is a picture of Sage with a new present from Aunt Shelley.  Thanks for all the Easter treats for Sage!

Fun Hat

Sunday morning we were greeters at church.  Sage had lots of fun saying Good Morning and handing out the bulletins.  After church I was going through my closet and getting rid of stuff for Goodwill.  I found this hat with the tags still on it.   I was going to put it in the Goodwill pile but Reese thought Sage might enjoy it.  He was right - she loves her new hat!

Bubble Wrap

Last week Sage discovered that bubble wrap was lots of fun!   We got package last week and there was a ton of bubble wrap in there for Sage to play with.  She loved walking on it and trying to
pop the bubbles!

The Circus

We went to the circus today and had tons of fun!   We went with Kevin, Steph, and Sam.  We love getting together with them, we always have so much fun.  The girls both really enjoyed the circus!  Kevin got the tickets and we were in the front row - amazing seats!  The popcorn and cotton candy were a huge hit with the girls.  Who am I kidding, the parents enjoyed the popcorn and cotton candy too!

I caught her with a mouthful of popcorn!

Best family shot that was taken.  Sage was enthralled with Sam's new toy!

Sage was to excited about the toy to smile for me!

Painting with Daddy!

We hosted playgroup this week and had a great time!   It was 65 degrees that day so we played inside and outside.  I had a painting craft set up for the kids and I kept it out so Reese could paint with Sage.  I cut off the bottom of the green peppers and used those as paint brushes for the kids (Thank You Pinterest!)  The kids all had a great time and as you can see from these pictures Sage had so much fun painting with Reese.

I asked her to smile for me and this is what she did!

If she has any artistic ability it came from her Daddy.
