Happy Birthday Finn!

Today is Finn's 2nd birthday!   We hope you had a great day - Happy Birthday!!

Bags

Sage has been loving all types of bags - my diaper bag, her purses, and her backpacks.  This past week her favorite bag has been her horse backpack she got from Mimi.  She was having lots of fun with her backpack last night.   At least the backpack made her a little happy last night.  Sage has been very fussy as she is getting her bottom eye teeth in.  They have broken through her gums and should be all the way out soon and I can't wait!  Hopefully it is the teeth bothering her and not the terrible two's already.

Friends

Sage and I always have fun on Wednesdays when we go to our playgroup.  Today it was at Stephanie's house - thanks for having us!  I brought my camera along to get some shots of the kids today.  Here are a few shots of our afternoon.

Shows

Sage has just started to watch a few shows on TV.  Mostly Word World on PBS and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney.  This picture was taken the first morning we were at my parents.  Sage always wanted to sit with CJ to watch shows - it was too cute!

Playing Up North

This outdoor game was a favorite of Sage's when we were at my parents.  She had lots of fun playing with the game.  Of course she didn't use the game as intended, it was much more fun to use it as jewelry.  So fun having my beautiful girl around!

Sage loves to wear bracelets these days - and these just happened to be really big bracelets!

Peek-A-Boo

Reese was playing Peek-a-Boo with Sage one night at the cottage and I had to get a few shots.  She sat in this car for a long time.  The car is really a float for the water and couldn't have been to comfortable but she didn't seem to mind.

The Cottage

We were able to stay up at my Grandpa's cottage for a few days while we were up north.  We had a great time visiting with family.  The cottage is on a beautiful lake with lots of activities for everyone.  Swimming, cornhole tournament (Reese and I came in 2nd!!), boating and some cocktails thrown in as well!  Here are a few pics from our stay at the cottage. 

Sage was quite clingy to Reese and I while we were Up North.  She did have a few favorite favorite family members though and Uncle Al was definitely a favorite!   She sat with him and played on the computer forever.  Only one key was taken off - sorry Uncle Al.

The View

It is always so relaxing up at my parents.  I love to sit on their screened in porch - reading a good book, having cocktails or just visiting - it is one of my favorite spots to be.  This picture is of Reese is their front yard.  It also happens to be the view from their porch.  What a great view with or without Reese in it! 

Shoes...

I had to take a picture of all the shoes that piled up at my parents this week.  With six adults and three kids the shoes always seem to pile up!  We are heading home tomorrow so most of the shoes will be gone and we will leave behind a very quiet house.

Relaxing...

We have had a great time relaxing while at my parents.   This picture was taken at my Grandpa's cottage.  We stayed up there for two nights and it was very relaxing.  Lots of good food, family time, playing in the lake and cocktails.  What more could you need for a few days of fun.  

Up North!

We are at my parents and having a great time.   It has been beautiful up here - high 70's to low 80's!   The kids are all having fun together and we have even managed some time away from the kids for a few cocktails.
