More shoes...

Reese was playing with Sage in her room tonight and she decided to go get some shoes out of her closet.  She HAD to have her Daddy put them on her.  She was so excited to put on these shoes.  She loves her shoes!   

Feeding her baby!

Sage was having a granola bar to start off breakfast on Friday morning and she decided to share it with her doll.  This is the first time she has tried to feed her doll - I had to capture it!   So, I ran and got my camera.  She put her doll in her booster seat and pretended to give her doll a bite, then she would take a bite and so on.  It was adorable! 

New Shoes!

We had a few extra minutes before we left for Sage's school on Thursday, and she looked so cute sitting on the step, I had to snap her picture!   She was very excited that day as she had on new shoes (they are hand-me-downs, but they are new to her) it was the first time she wore the shoes and she loved them!   I think she looks pretty cute!

Paintings

We finally found a painting to go in our dining room and we both love it!   It is the first piece of original art that Reese and I have bought together.  It makes the painting that much more special!   We liked the artist so much that Reese picked out a painting for our family room to!  I am sure the pictures don't do the art justice, the paintings look great in person!

 

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 4th Anniversary!   Happy Anniversary Reese!  These last four years have been an adventure and I can't wait for all the adventures that are in store for us over the years.  I love you with all my heart.  Love you!

Artwork!

Sage came home from school last week and she had artwork with her!  I know that over the years there will be lots of papers and artwork that come home from school.  I am sure it will be way to much.  But the first time she brought home artwork was so much fun for this Momma!

Tea Party!

Sage got this tea set from my parents last year and we use it almost daily.  Usually multiple times a day.  We had a tea party this morning and I had to get a few pictures.  She loves to pour tea for both of us and then we also have to sample the desserts.  Love this girl and love the fun we have together!

Museum fun!

Shelley, Tyler and the boys were here this weekend and we had lots of fun!   Shelley and I took the kids to the Children's Museum on Sunday.  It was a great morning and the kids all had fun. 

Sage had so much fun on this!

Mom of the Year... Again

Reese traveled three days this week and got home last night in time for dinner!  Sage was so excited to see her Daddy!   I was excited to see him too.  I wanted him to check out her black eye.  Yes, Sage got her first black eye and of course it was on my watch.  It was Monday night and Sage was in the tub.  We have a container that holds toys and we also use it to rinse her hair.   I had put a few toys it in and it fell right off the ledge into the tub.  Sage just happened to be laying on her belly in the tub and the container fell right on her - just below her left eye.  It instantly turned purple and red.  I felt so bad and from her screams so did she.  It only took a little while to calm her down and then I took a few pictures to send to Reese.  I know there will be lots more bruises but hopefully not to many more black eyes!  I know it doesn't look that bad in the pictures - but it seemed really bad at the time.

Playtime!

We had JJ over at the house this morning and it was tons of fun!  The last playdate at our house Sage wasn't very good at sharing her toys.  I am happy to report that she was much better today!   Steph dropped JJ off at 9:30 and we were ready to play.   We had a great morning and here are a few pics!

First Day of School!

Sage had her first day of school today!   There were no tears from Sage or Momma!   She did really well with the drop-off and pick-up.  She was excited to see me when I went to get her, she told me they colored and used bubbles.   I was pleasantly surprised to hear that she sat down with the rest of the class and ate her snack.  Sitting still isn't one of Sage's favorite activities.  Of course we had to take some pictures before we left for school!

Playing Outside

It was a beautiful fall like day today.   I think the temperature only got to be 70 - it was heavenly!   I LOVE Fall!  We had a very nice relaxing day.  Sage and I went grocery shopping, Reese went to Menard's and we played the rest of the day.  Some inside time and some outside time.  It was a good day.  Here are a few pictures from our outside time.  She looks so big to me in these pictures, such a toddler now.
