Sleeping Bag

Last Friday Sage had a pajama/pizza party at school.  She loved it.  They had pajama day at school and of course she wore her Frozen pajamas.  Then we got to bring the kids back in the evening for the party.  They were told to bring a sleeping bag and pillow to be comfy while watching the movie at the pizza party.  It was a nice little break for us and she had so much fun.  Since that night she has used her sleeping bag every day!  She looks pretty cozy to me!

New Car

While it was so nice out and Sage was playing in what was left of our snow.  This is what Quinn was doing - hanging out in her new car!  Quinn was loving being outside and part of the action with Momma pushing her and doing all the work.  I see this getting lots of use this Spring and Summer!

A little snow

Last weekend it was beautiful!    The sun was out and it was in the high 40's.  Sage and Lydia were so excited to get outside and play!   They were enjoying the last little bit of snow that we had left. 

More Climbing

That same day she was climbing on the coffee table this also happened.

This container normally holds diapers and wipes for the downstairs.  She dumped out the contents and moved it over to the wall and turned it over and climbed right on.  She was loving being on top of it until she fell right off the back with a stunned look on her face.  Didn't stop her for long.  She got right back up to try it again.  We are in trouble!

Climber

I think we have a climber on our hands.  Quinn has figured out when she pushes her car next to the coffee table she can climb in the car, out through the window and on to the coffee table.  This girl has no fear.  She was so proud of herself for getting on top of the table.  She did this 10 times in a row.  Each time we would get her down and tell her no.  More adventures will soon be here I am sure!

Happy Birthday Mimi!

There was a very special lady with a birthday this past Friday!   Mimi we hope you had a great day!  Sorry this post is late.  We hope you had a great dinner celebration for your birthday - wish we could have been there!   We love you!

Movie Machine

This Goldie Blox kit was a real hit!  It wasn't as many steps as the other kits but it come with enough cards to make four movies.  And you can even make your own movie!  Sage loves to be creative and was so excited to make her own movie!  Thanks Mimi & Pop-Pop for this great present!

Cooking

Quinn loves our play kitchen.  She is banging around all the time with the pots, dishes and play food.  Usually it involves getting every single plate, utensil and piece of food out on the floor.  Have to see what there is to play with!  One of her favorites is the pot in the picture below!

Dunk Tank

Sage got another Goldie Blox set for Christmas.  This one came from Aunt Shelley and Uncle Tyler it is a Dunk Tank.  She loves it!  She had lots of fun getting the dunk tank to work.

Snacks

This is where we will find Quinn throughout the day.  In the kitchen trying to get in the cabinets.  She usually goes right to the island cabinet because that is where we keep her snacks.  The other day she got a bag of snacks and a bowl and walked over to me.  Well of course after all that effort I got her a snack!

First Snow of 2015

We have been waiting for snow and finally got some this week!  On Tuesday morning we woke up to three inches.  Sage was so excited.  During Quinn's morning nap Sage and I went out to shovel snow.  She lasted about five minutes of shoveling - there was snow to played in!  She had so much fun and was a little disappointed that it was fluffy and not packable snow to make snowballs.

 

She was trying to find a big snow hill to stand on top of - a little hard to do when you only have 3 inches of snow on the ground!

Together

The girls have been playing really well together.  Considering how much time we have spent in the house this last month with us all being sick - they have done really well.  I love it when they play together - it makes me smile.  This was after lunch on Monday and Sage brought over a toy to keep Quinn occupied.  They both had fun!

Her hair is so long but she always takes the bows out that I put in to keep it out of her eyes. 

More Christmas present!

Aunt Jane sent some gifts for the girls for Christmas.  The box arrived while we were eating dinner last week.  It about killed Sage to eat dinner and not open her present until she was done.   She was very excited to open her present and discover new clothes for her American Girl doll.  She had to go put then clothes on her doll immediately!  Quinn got a new book and loves it! 

Easy Bake Oven

Sage got an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas and we finally got to test it out!   She had so much fun getting the dough ready and making the cookies.  She loves to help in the kitchen and I think she is really going to like having her own oven. 
 

New Years Day

We put all the Christmas decorations away except for the tree a few days before New Years.  Sage wanted to keep the tree up.  We finally took the tree down and it was nice to get it all put away and the house back in order.  Sage was sad that the decorations were being put away, but she was happy to hear that in a few weeks we can bring out the Valentine's Day stuff!  I have a few decorations for New Years but couldn't find them until New Years Day.  Sage was all about the noisemakers and party hats!

NYE Crafts!

To celebrate New Years Eve Rebecca got a bunch of craft stuff and Sage and Lydia made some NYE crafts.  They made a mask, a hat and a wand.  There was glitter everywhere!  The girls haven't really seen much of each other because they have both been sick.  It was nice to spend some time together. 

 

Early New Years Celebration

We knew that most of us wouldn't make it until midnight (only Reese did!).  So we had an early celebration at Noon on New Years Eve!  We had a bottle of sparkling grape juice that we drank out of plastic wine glasses and some party popper noise makers.  Sage said the sparkling wine juice was terrible!  We did our countdown at Noon and then did the noise makers.  The noise makers let out a bunch of string and make a big pop!  Each time one would go off Quinn would just giggle!  It was really cute!
