Day at Home

We spent Tuesday at home - it was windy and chilly - I figured it would be a good pajama day!   Sage loves to stay in her pajamas so she was happy!   I painted Sage's toes, and we made granola bars.  It was my first time making granola bars and they taste really good!  Sage had lots of fun helping and she got to wear her apron that Nana made for her.  We made pumpkin chocolate muffins earlier this week - lots of baking here!

Warm Day!

Last week we had some really nice weather. We took advantage of the warm weather and met some friends at the zoo.  It was such a beautiful day!  Of course while we there we had to ride the carousel and the train.  Here is Sage enjoying the zoo.

Lots of pumpkins

We made a fun pumpkin craft today.  When Sage got up from her nap she said "Mommy I want to do a craft."  I had to quickly get one together because we had to get the neighbor kids off the bus.  She had fun but wasn't happy that I wanted to take her picture.  When I told her that since Reese is traveling the pictures were for him, she agreed to the pictures!

I also had to include a picture of this cute pumpkin we got for Sage from Pottery Barn.  She loves it!

Cookie Cutter Painting

We got out the paint and cookie cutters on Tuesday to help pass a very rainy morning.  Sage loved using the Fall cookie cutters and was very particular about which color paint she used and which cookie cutter!

Lucas

This past weekend we went over for Brady's birthday party and Sage kept asking to hold Lucas.  This is not the best picture - the lighting was way off.  But I had to share it.  She was so excited that she got to hold Baby Lucas!

Glue & Glitter!

I found this project online and knew Sage would love it!  Glue and glitter what more could she want!   We made a glitter spider web and she was so into the glitter.  She kept wanting to sprinkle more onto the web.  We had glitter all over the kitchen when we were done with this.  But seeing how much fun she had made it worth it.

Minnie Mouse Ears

Shelley and her family recently went to Disneyland and brought back Sage a souvenir - a pair of Minnie Mouse ears!   She was so excited to wear them, they even had her name embroidered on the back.  They will go perfect with her Minnie Mouse themed birthday party!   Thanks Aunt Shelley - she loves them!

Halloween Bingo

One of the activities I found online for Halloween was a Bingo game.  We played it yesterday and Sage LOVED it!   I printed off three different bingo boards and she had to try each one.  She could have sat there for hours with this game, but we had to go meet Daddy for dinner.

Visit to the Fire Station

On Wednesday this week Baby Jam went to the Fire Station.  Thanks Tracey for arranging our visit!  It was a great visit!  We got a tour of the building, and a tour of the ambulance - we were sitting in the ambulance when they got a call and we all had to get out.  They also got to see one of the fireman go down the fireman's pole.  They each got a bag of goodies from the fireman.  A fun morning for sure - we topped it off with a visit to Chick-Fil-A for lunch with Megan, Marshall and Alice.   Tracey brought her camera and got all these pictures - I appreciate it since I forgot mine.

Case and Sage in the classroom.

Learning all about the fireman's uniform.

Getting a tour of the ambulance.

Allison and Sage in front of the firetruck.  It was a bit windy that day!  This ladder truck is 16 years old - they are getting a new one that costs 1.2 Million!

All the kiddos!

Paper Plate Pumpkins

Painting these pumpkins was lots of fun for Sage.  She wasn't to happy that we had to let them dry and finish them the next day. But she did have fun putting the faces on them.

 Day 1 - Painting

Can you tell she didn't want her picture taken?

Here she is with the finished pumpkin and a smaller colorful pumpkin she did this morning.  I have to get online and look for more Halloween ideas - I am running out of projects for her.

Candy Corn Project

We have been working on Fall/Halloween projects the last few days and Sage has been loving it.  So have I!  Here is our latest project: candy corn.  It was really easy - black construction paper, a white crayon to make the outline of the candy corn, white, orange, and yellow construction paper and glue are all you need.  I cut the paper in strips and then Sage helped me tear it into smaller pieces.  I think her favorite part was dripping the glue all over each section and then sticking on the bits of paper.  She had so much fun we made three of these!

Chuck E Cheese's Party

We celebrate all of the kids birthdays from Baby Jam at one party.  Since they all turn 3 within a few months of each other it makes sense to do one big party.  Such a good idea to have it at Chuck E Cheese's - good one Bev!  The kids had so much fun.  They got to eat, play games and get some fun birthday treats!  And none of us had a mess to clean up at the end of the party.

Sage getting her birthday crown!

Marshall and Sage waiting for all the kids to get their crowns.

James, JJ, Allison, Case, Andrew, Sage, Max, & Marshall

Sage and Daddy playing a fun speedboat game.

The one picture of Sage and I - and of course its blurry.

Opening presents - we picked names and bought one $15 gift - such a good idea Tracey!

Sage loved her Doc McStuffins DVD from Tracey and Andrew!

Love this one - she was having so much fun!

She had so much fun playing all the games.  She would start a game and just wander off to another game - she never wanted to finish a game.  To many games to try!

Happy Birthday to us!

Wow - we are 35 today - times flies by!   I know I am having a good day and I hope you are to Shelley!   Maybe one of these days we will get to celebrate together.  Love you!   Happy Birthday!

This picture is over 2 years old from Brady and Sage's first birthday party.  Guess Shelley and I need to get a picture of the two of us next time we are together.

Bouncing!

We went to an indoor Bounce House yesterday - Sage loved it.  I loved that it was so clean and they had an area specifically for toddlers.  She had lots of fun bouncing and jumping.  On the way there she told me she was going to jump high as the sky!  She had fun with Allison - even though they weren't too thrilled with the slides.  They both jumped a lot.  We even got to go meet Reese for lunch after jumping.  A good day!

All that jumping is hard work - they had to stop for a water break.  This is the only picture I got - the rest are all blurry from the jumping girls!

Playdate!

Yesterday morning we watched Lydia for a few hours.  The girls had lots of fun playing, coloring and we took a trip to the park.

Here they are enjoying the wagon.

New Ring

We went to Chuck E Cheese's last night for the playgroup birthday party.  All the kids turn 3 within 2 months.  We had so much fun and I can't wait to see all the pictures.  I am waiting on a few pictures from Reese's phone and a group picture.  But I do have this picture of Sage from this morning with her new ring.  Bev brought cupcakes to the party, train cupcakes & princess cupcakes- each cupcake had a ring on it.  Sage chose a train cupcake and loves her new train ring.  This morning when she put it on she said she was now married like Mommy & Daddy.  She is too cute!

More S'mores

I realized I hadn't done any videos of Sage for a long time.  So I used my iPhone to take this video the other night when we made s'mores.  Enjoy!

S'Mores!

We had a good family day yesterday!  We had family pictures taken in the morning on the grounds of a local art museum.  It was chilly but the sun was out and I can't wait to see the pictures from our photographer.  She showed us a few and I am excited to see the rest!  We then came home and all relaxed and after dinner we used Reese's new fire pit for the first time.  We made s'mores and Sage loved them!

Getting ready to roast the marshmallows!

She had to help out with every step of the process.

 Her first bite!

 Think she liked the s'mores?

Love this one!
