Happy Birthday Nana!

2 Year-olds!

My Mother-In-Law took this picture over the Thanksgiving weekend.  It was a beautiful afternoon and the kids were having so much fun in the backyard and on the playset.  I love this picture, the two 2 year-olds of the family.  You can tell that they are 2 when they have their tantrums.  Sage sticking her lower lip out and pouting to Finn when he is told no and he crumples to the floor.  It is so much fun to watch in action!  We had fun during their visit. 

Trip to the Park

With three kids in the house this weekend.  We were busy!   We had to get outside and let the kids burn off some energy.  So off we went to the park.  We all had a great time and it was a beautiful afternoon with the sun shining. 

Thanksgiving

We had very nice Thanksgiving.  Reese's parents, brother, and our niece and nephew were here.  Kelly and Jason also joined us.  We had lots of good food - thanks to Bill & Russ the turkey was really good.  I made the sides and my first venture into making a pumpkin pie was successful!  Of course we were to busy to get any pictures on Thanksgiving.  But here are a few from our visit.

Sage has this new thing when I am working in the kitchen she drags a chair over to check out what is going on.  Here she just wanted to play with the toaster.

Jump & Play

On Sage's birthday we went to a place that has a bunch of bounce houses.  She ran all over and jumped like crazy.  She really liked the big slides that day!

Can you tell she had fun bouncing - couldn't stop to get her hair out of her eyes.  She was having to much fun!

Minnie Hat

I was trying to take a picture of Sage in her new hat from Mimi and Pop-Pop.  This was the best picture that I got.  I think she still looks cute!

Fun times

Sage had lots of fun playing with her cousins this weekend.  She had even more fun with Aunt Shelley.  Whenever Shelley is around Sage is in close contact.  She loves her some Shelley time!    

 

2nd Birthday Party

Sage's 2nd birthday party was lots of fun!   We had great food, good friends and lots of family around.  She had fun running around and playing with the kids and the adults seemed to enjoy themselves as well!  We had a tutu for Sage to wear but she wouldn't put it on - thanks Nana for making the tutu, banner, cupcake toppers,"2" cookies and Sage's shirt.  You made more for the party than I did!  Here are a few pictures from the day.

Great Weekend

We had a great weekend with friends and family.  I am going through all the pictures to do a birthday party post for Sage.  But until then here is our beautiful girl.  She has been a very sassy girl the last few days.  Her two year molars are coming through.  I think that is why she has been sassy - I hope that's the reason. Everybody is telling me her being sassy is just because she is two!

More birthday fun!

The birthday fun continued all this past weekend.  Sage was able to open one gift a day.  She had so much fun.  She got a card that plays music when she opens it.  We have heard that music alot!  You can see in the picture below that she loved it.  She was dancing away!

 Aunt Sandy, Uncle Al, and Elizabeth sent Sage the cutest outfit and she had so much fun opening it!

Birthday Breakfast

Sage got to enjoy her mini chocolate muffin with sprinkles for her birthday breakfast.  She blew the candle out before I could get a picture.  She was serious about digging in to her birthday treat!

Blocks & Balloons

When Sage woke up on her birthday we had a bunch of balloons ready for her to play with (thanks Aunt Shelley for the idea!).  She wasn't quite sure what to think of the balloons.  It didn't take her long to have fun with the balloons and to get out her new blocks and play with them!  A good start to the day for our birthday girl!

Our girl is 2!

Happy Birthday Sage!   I can't believe you are two years old today - this year seemed to go faster than your first.  I am sure I will say that every year.   I love the toddler that you are, always exploring, talking, and learning new things.  It is so much fun to be your Mommy and Daddy!  We have so much fun as a family and I love the time we spend together, just the three of us.  You are a stubborn little thing, wonder where you get that from...  You continue to amaze us at the things you ask and how quickly you pick up on things.   You can count to ten and know most of your colors.  We are working on shapes your two favorite are oval and octagon - who knew!  Thanks for making being a parent such an adventure!   We love you!

Full of Energy!

We woke up early this morning and went to church.  Sage was full of energy from the moment she got out of her crib.  We went and got bagels after church and the workers heard her saying Happy Birthday Sage!  Even though it wasn't her birthday for one more day they let her pick out some mini muffins as a birthday treat.  Of course she picked the ones with chocolate frosting and sprinkles!   She gets them tomorrow as her birthday treats!  Here are a few pictures of our ball of energy.

Cash Register

Aunt Faith, Sloan and Finn sent Sage her present and she had so much fun opening it.  We had lots of fun watching her open it!  I see hours of fun with this gift.  Thanks Aunt Faith, Sloan and Finn!  We hope you had a great trip to Disney!

 She is loving her new tights, and the sweater dress is adorable.  I almost bought the same dress for our family pictures.  Great minds think alike!

Fun Envelope

Aunt Terri & Uncle Nick sent Sage an early birthday gift - thank you!   She had so much fun opening it and I am so glad I took a bunch of pictures.  Here are the fun pics.

She had to come back to the envelope!  She was running around the house waving the envelope around.  Can't wait for her birthday party she is going to be so much fun to watch opening her gifts!
