No Table?

Quinn will be watching a show and I will walk out of the room for a minute and this is how I will find her when I return.  This girl is a climber and she will climb anything - she definitely keeps things interesting!

Aunt Terri Visit

Aunt Terri came over to see the house and to stay overnight for a visit.  We all had fun but the girls especially were loving on Aunt Terri.  It was s short visit but a fun one!  We loved having you and hope Uncle Nick will come with you next time!

New/Old Toys

When we put the Indy house up for sale I put lots of the girls toys away in storage.  We recently just got them out and they are both loving the new/old toys again.  Quinn has been loving the Little People and this teapot.  We have had lots of tea parties since Sage went to school!

Pre-K Video

I forgot to put this video on the Pre-K Graduation post.  Sage is on stage with her teacher Mrs. Carr.

Pre-K Graduation

This post is way out of order.  I just finally downloaded all the pictures on my camera from Sage's Pre-Kindergarten Graduation.  With the move it was a bit hectic but now I have them all downloaded.  She was so excited for graduation.  Reese was still traveling back and forth so he was able to take the day off to be home for her graduation.  She was so glad her Daddy was home!  I meant to take more pictures but I was a little preoccupied that day.  It really hit me that we were leaving.  It was our last weekend in Indy and I was saying goodbye to Tracey at graduation.  I didn't cry during gradation but after giving Tracey a hug and heading to the car it was all over - waterworks.  I didn't get a picture of Sage and Andrew together or Sage with both of her teachers.  We loved Mrs. Carr and Mrs. Lamb and Sage had such a good year with them.
She was so excited!

Sage and Mrs. Carr!

Quinn was pretty good throughout graduation.

She wanted her picture in front of the sign.

Growing up

Quinn looks so grown up in this picture to me.  She is getting so big and I am loving my one-on-one time with her while Sage is at school!   I still miss Sage every daybut it is nice to have the time with just Quinn.

Sister Snuggles

This was taken on the first Saturday morning after school started.  They both miss each other during the day.  Noting better than some sister snuggles!

Football and Lunch

Two weekends ago we set out to have a fun Fall family day.  Well we all know how things go as planned!  We got to out first event - a fair in the park downtown.  It started to rain just as we got there.  We walked around and saw a few vendors and bought the cute headband Sage has on in the picture below.  We got the girls each a donut and decided to get out of the rain.  While the rain may have changed our plans we still had a good day.  We ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch and to watch some football.  Sage even got to have some hot chocolate since she was so cold - just wait until winter kiddo!

Q Coloring

Quinn is really into coloring these days.  She usually rips the paper, but she will color and sit there patiently for quite awhile.  She asks to color lots and I bet we color each and every day.

Apple

I got this picture of Sage and her apple emailed to me from her teacher.  It made my day to get a picture of my girl while she was having fun at school!  I do enjoy my time with Quinn but I miss Sage while she is gone at school.

Orchard #2

We went to another Orchard while Mimi and Pop-Pop were here.  It was smaller but very nice - this was my favorite of the two.  They had great donuts and cider and even a farmers market.  I got some great produce and their apples were delicious.  We also got a blueberry/rhubard pie that didn't last long!
This was at the entrance to the petting farm.

Ready to Potty Train?

We were getting ready to go out for the day and we found Quinn like this.  I think she might be ready to potty train but I am not sure I am ready for it.  We have been putting her on the potty and she hasn't gone on it yet.

Church

We have been trying to find a church and after trying three we think we found one.  As you can see in the picture below Quinn made herself right at home!   This was in the middle of the church service.  She was getting comfortable!

Orchard #1

It was a beautiful day out a couple weekends and we decided to have some fall fun and went to an Orchard.  We got some apple cider and donuts after all the fun and we all enjoyed that!  It was fun to see the girls enjoying themselves - I know Mimi and Pop-Pop had fun watching the girls too.
They had all of these playsets for the kids to climb on.  Sage liked this one, it was a castle.

Quinn kept trying this over and over.  She loved it!

Sage was so excited she didn't need any help to climb the rope!

Sage on top of the hay mountain talking to Quinn on the bottom!  She was pretty excited she didn't need any help to climb it.

Sage feeding the goats - this was the first time she was comfortable feeding animals.  She fed chickens and sheep too!

Quinn was all about feeding any animal!

Checking out the goats with Mimi.  There were some tiny baby goats that were so cute!

Busy, Busy

A few pictures from Mimi and Pop-Pop's visit.

 Quinn was loving Pop-Pop's magazine.

We went out to dinner to our favorite Mexican restaurant. Sage ordered her dinner herself and made a mistake and ordered the wrong item.  She was none to happy when her dinner arrived.  Good thing there was some chips and salsa!

We went to a dairy farm that serves the best ice cream!  Love this picture of Pop-Pop and the girls.

Playtime!

While Mimi and Pop-Pop were here we went to an indoor playground.  Both girls had so much fun!  They have a small area for toddlers and they both played in there for a little while.  We had been there one time before and it didn't take Quinn long to remember how much fun the big kid area was.  She was off and running.  It was a really busy morning there and kids were everywhere!  We stayed for about 90 minutes and it was time to go.

You can see in this picture that Quinn had fun and was so hot from running around and that she wasn't very happy that we had to leave.

Bronner's

We had visitors for the first week of September!  Mimi and Pop-Pop came for a visit and to check out our new house.  We had a great time with them and so did the girls.   We spent lots of time at home playing with the girls and took a few days trips!  We went up to Frankenmuth for the day and we all enjoyed it except for the weather.  Almost as soon as we got there it started to rain.  We had to cancel our boat tour and we didn't get to shop much.  We did have a good lunch and we went to Bronner's.  Most of you know how much I love holidays and Christmas tops the list!  I was so excited to go to Bronner's.  We only went through a very small portion of the store.  Sage picked out an ornament and we got one for our family as well.  I can't wait to go back and explore the store some more!

Meet the Teacher Night

I know I blogged out of order for school but I had to get up the pictures of Sage going to school.  She had so much fun and I wanted to get them up right away.  So we are going backwards for a few posts!  Bear with me!  These pictures are from the Meet the Teacher Night.  We got to meet her teacher, and take a tour of her classroom.  We also brought in a bunch of school supplies so her bag wasn't to heavy on the first day.  Her classroom is really big!  Lots of learning and playing areas.  They have a bathroom right in their classroom - so no getting lost on the way to the bathroom!  Sage sits at a table, not a desk and there are three rows of tables in the classroom.  There are 19 kids in her class, 7 girls and 12 boys.  Her teacher seems very nice and has been teaching for eight years.  She is a fellow Chippewa as well!

Zoo Trip

We went to the zoo for the first time before school started.  It was a fun visit, but a tiring one.  This zoo is lots more spread out than the Indianapolis Zoo.  After three hours I was tired from pushing Quinn in the stroller and chasing her when she was out of the stroller.   So glad we got an annual zoo pass so we can go back and explore some more!

Here is Sage as we were entering the polar bear exhibit.  I sent this picture to Aunt Shelley because she got Sage the cute sweater she is wearing at a garage sale a few years ago.  It looked so big when she got it for Sage and now it fits!   Time flies!

Sage getting to see prairie dogs up close!

First Day of Kindergarten

I am not so sure how we got to this day so quickly.  How is my baby all ready for school.  But she was, Sage was so excited to start Kindergarten!  She couldn't wait!  One of the best things to her is that she gets to ride the school bus.  We walked in the rain to the bus stop and met the other families there.  She was dancing around and fell and got all wet and hurt her elbow and hand.  All of this just as the bus was coming around the corner.  She recovered well and was able to get on the bus and go have a great day.  You all know me - I was emotional already and then she fell and hurt herself.  I was worried about her.  Well, a neighbor was dropping her son off and saw Sage and took her picture and sent it to me.  She was doing great and it made me feel a ton better knowing she was ok.  As soon as the bus pulled away Quinn was asking for sissy!  We both missed her.  I was busy bringing Mimi and Pop-Pop to the airport in the morning, then Quinn and I met Reese for lunch.  After that we headed home and I got to listen to Quinn not nap during the afternoon.  We finally got to go get Sage off the bus (which was 10 minutes late).  Quinn was so excited to see Sage she wouldn't stop hugging her!  Sage said her favorite part of the day was recess.  She played on the monkey bars by herself.   When I asked her what her least favorite part of the day was she said "Nothing, Mom I loved everything today!"  Let's hope she keeps loving school every day!  We are so excited for our girls as she starts this next chapter in live.  We love you Sage!
