Blue Eyes

I have been told recently by a few people that Sage's eyes are so blue.  I agree!  I think they are a beautiful shade of blue and thought this picture captured how pretty her eyes are.  The outfit she is wearing is from our friends Stephanie and Kevin.  Their daughter Sam will be two in July and they have given us a ton of clothes for Sage and all sorts of other baby gear.  Thanks guys!  We hope we get to see you this weekend!

Smile

We are getting closer to getting Sage to smile for us on film!  Here are a few pictures from this afternoon - she had just gotten up from a nap and was a very happy girl.   

 

 

Cousins

Roadtrip

We were in Cincinnati for the weekend visiting the Germann family.  It was for a birthday party for their two boys, Alex and Carter.  We also got to see Shelley, Tyler, Corvin and Brady for the weekend.  We had a great time and it was fun seeing everybody.

Bumbo

We have been trying out the Bumbo with Sage.  She has been doing great!  We only use it for a few minutes at a time to get her used to it.  She is getting so big!  Thanks Aunt Faith and Uncle Russ for my cute outfit!

Visitors

We had a great weekend with friends visiting from Michigan.  Rob, Lisa, and Shelby came down to see us - really lets be honest they came down to see Sage!  It was a very relaxing weekend filled with lots of cocktails, playing games and catching up.  Here are a few pictures of Sage enjoying her visitors!

Reading

I really enjoy reading to Sage and I like to think that she enjoys it to! We read together every day.  She is really starting to look at the books.  Here is a shot of us reading last week. 

Three Months

Sage is three months old today!   We hope everyone has had a Happy Valentine's Day!

Bath Time

Here are a few pictures from bath time tonight. Sage has really started to enjoy bath time.  But trying to capture her smile on film is still challenging.  We love her towel that we got from Faith & Russ for Christmas.  We hope you think our Little Bears Fan is as cute as we do!

 

 

Play Gym

Sage has been starting to enjoy her Baby Einstein play gym.  We have put a bunch of noisy toys on it for her to play with.  She really enjoys it when one of us lays next to her and plays too!

Starting to feel better

Sage and I are both a little bit happier this week.  Sage had a good day yesterday.  I hope we are both on the mend.  Here is Sage enjoying a bottle from her Dad and sitting in her seat while we had dinner.  Trying to get Sage to smile on film is still tough.  Reese was trying to help me out and get her to smile - but to no avail!

 

 

Last Week

This was how Sage and I spent almost all of her naps last week.  She only wanted to sleep on my chest.  I did enjoy all the cuddle time.  But I didn't get to much done around the house. 

Sick

Well, it has been a long week in our house.  Reese was the first one to get sick, then Sage and finally me.  I took Sage to the doctor on Monday at 11am and came home right after the appointment.  I didn't walk out of the house until yesterday morning to shovel the 5 inches of snow we had gotten Friday night.  Let's just say I was ready to get out of the house - even if it was to shovel.  Luckily we have a great neighbor who was already outside working on our driveway.   We all have a cold and Sage has been pretty good even though she is sick.  She was only getting up once per night before she got sick and now she is up multiple times.  I am hoping we get back to only once a night soon.   So there are no smiling pictures of Sage to post - I will try to get some new photos this week.  Hope you all are enjoying the big game tonight!
