Mr. Moose

Sage has a favorite toy - it is Mr. Moose, when she got Mr. Moose she also got this shirt Moose America!   She got both from Aunt Lynne and we love them - thanks Aunt Lynne!!   Sage plays with Mr. Moose all the time and I love her shirt.  Here she is after eating breakfast this morning.  She had bananas and oatmeal - it was homemade baby food.  Yesterday was the first time I tried mashing up bananas for her and she ate them right up!  Today as well!  Bananas were my first attempt at homemade baby food and I am going to make some more this weekend - carrots and sweet potatoes.  I hope she likes it!  As you can see in the photo Sage is missing her right sock.  She almost always kicks off her right sock when she eats.  I think it is adorable - these are the fun things I want to remember about our sweet girl!  Reese has been traveling since Monday and he is coming home today. YEAH!!!!  We are so excited to have him home.  We missed you! 

John Deere Blanket

Brady's Baptism

What a special day Sunday was - it was Brady's baptism.   It was even more special because Reese is Brady's Godfather!  Thanks for including us in this day - I know Reese is honored to be Brady's Godfather.

We were relaxing last night after a busy weekend and Sage was very interested in her Daddy!  She is so aware now of her surroundings and it is so much fun!

Bear Update

Here is the latest picture of Sage and her bear!  We are off to spend the weekend with Shelley, Tyler and the kids.  It is Corvin's birthday party and Brady's baptism.  What a fun weekend we have ahead of us!  Happy Friday!

Booster Seat

We are now using the booster seat when we feed Sage -she loves it!  When we put her in the seat she gets all excited.  She knows that food is in her future!  She has done really well with trying new foods.  She seems to like everything, except green vegetables are not her favorite.  This is a shot of Sage before her morning breakfast - today was pears and oatmeal.  We hope she continues to be a good eater!

Race for the Cure

We did the Race for the Cure this past weekend with Kelly and Jason.  We walked in memory of Jason's Mom, Jean.  We are so glad we were able to walk with Kelly and Jason.  Thanks for letting us be part of your day.

Weekend Fun!

What a wonderful visit we had this weekend with Mimi and Pop-Pop!  Sage was the star of the show!  We had a good time, thanks for coming to visit.

Rolling over!

We have had special visitors this weekend - Mimi and Pop-pop were up from Texas.  We had a great weekend and they got to see Sage roll over for the first time.  We were sitting around relaxing Friday evening it was almost time for Sage's bath.  Reese and Sage were playing on the couch - and ta da.... she rolled over! Witnessed by all present - except me!  Here is a photo of Reese and Sage celebrating her rolling over!

Five Months

Here is our beautiful girl at five months!  It is hard to believe she is already five months old.  The months are flying by.  I couldn't decide which photo to post to so I put both up.

We were getting ready for our morning walk and Sage looked to cute I had to take a picture!  She is getting so big - she now weighs 14lbs, 2oz.   It is a beautiful morning here and we had to take advantage of the sunshine.  Thanks Aunt Faith and Sloan for my cute sweatshirt!   Faith gave Sage a bunch of clothes when we were visiting for Easter - we came home with an extra suitcase filled with clothes!  Thank you:)

First Flight

Sage did great on her first flight!  She was a hit with all the passengers and crew.  She took a short nap and then played!  Both Reese and I had fun with her.  We were very happy she was a good flyer for us.  We had a wonderful time and a great Easter with Faith, Russ and the kids.  Some great pics to come!

Ear Infection

Sage has gotten her first ear infection.  She is being a trooper!   Yesterday she woke up from her afternoon nap screaming - which is very uncommon she normally wakes up happy and talking (wonder where she gets her talking from)!  She calmed down pretty quickly but about 20 minutes later she was screaming her head off - ear shattering screams.  I called the pediatrician and they fit us in for the last appointment of the day.  So glad our pediatrician/hospital is only 5 minutes from the house.  We were able to get her prescription filled in the hospital pharmacy and she has taken her first few doses like a champ!   She slept through the night and was a very happy girl this morning.  We hope she continues to be happy today as we are going on her first flight today.   We are off to see Russ, Faith, Sloan and Finn.  We are super excited about our trip and can't wait to see the kids and for them to meet Sage.  As you can see from the picture below Sage is all packed and ready for our trip!
