Busy week...

Whew!  It has been one busy week - therefore my lack of blogging.  I was just to busy and too tired to blog.  We had a full house over the weekend.  My parents arrived last Thursday and then Shelley and her family arrived on Friday.  We had a BBQ Saturday and then went to the zoo on Sunday.  Not much down time.  We had a great time with friends and family at the BBQ and the zoo was great!  Corvin rode a roller coaster for the first time and he liked it.  We then went to Michigan on Monday to be with my friend Jennifer and her family.  Jennifer lost her father last Friday and we wanted to be there for them at this difficult time.  My thoughts and prayers continue to be with Jennifer and her family as they deal with their loss.  I didn't take many pictures this past week but here are a few.

3 Years!

Today is our three year anniversary!   Happy Anniversary Reese!  I love you and Sage so much.  Thank you for making these last three years so fabulous.  The picture below was taken on our first anniversary when we were in Japan.  What a great trip and what fun memories.  I look forward to all the trips we will take and all the memories we will make in the future.  I love you! 

Go Bears!!!

Reese is a HUGE Bears fan and I enjoy watching the Bears as well.  Reese didn't get to enjoy the Bears win over Dallas this week, he was working in the basement with Joe.  But Sage was ready for the Bears win!  Thanks to Andy and Crystal for all the Bears gear that they have passed down to Sage.  Reese really loves it!  And I think she looks cute!   So, here is our little Bears fan!

New Bib!

Sage was given a gift from my friend Sarah - a new bib!  We love it!  Sarah is one of the Moms I have met through my Wednesday playgroup.  Her son Liam and Sage have lots of fun together and so do Sarah & I.

Bookshelf

Sage has a favorite new activity - pulling all the books from her bookshelf.  She loves to do this and after she pulls the books down she sits and plays with them.  I love it!

Art Fair

We went to an Art Fair last Saturday with Kelly and Jason.  It was a great day, but it didn't start out that way.  When we got to the Art Fair it was pouring.  We found a greenhouse to hide out in until the rain stopped, we wanted to make sure Sage stayed dry!  O.K. I wanted to stay dry to! While we were there we got some information on some Music classes for Sage and I.  They gave her a maraca and she loves it!   She has played with it so much.  She still hasn't figured out how to crawl with it in her hand - but soon I am sure!

Ten Months - a few days late!

Sage is now ten months old!  It is hard to believe she will soon be a year old.  She is now pulling up into a standing position very fast and she is crawling very quickly.  She has been making alot more sounds and has been clicking her tongue.  We are on the go nonstop.  When I am holding her she will push away to get down and go.  Amazing how much we love this little girl!

  

Pop-Pop & his girls!

Two great pictures of Pop-Pop and his girls.  They had so much fun together!   Reese's parents watched Sage for the us the last night we were in Texas.  Reese and I went to dinner and had a wonderful time.  Sage had fun as well - she sat with Pop-Pop for 45 minutes and had her bottle and just relaxed.  She never sits with us for 45 minutes - she is always on the go!  

Uncle Russ

The Zoo!

We went to a wonderful zoo while we were in Texas.  It was the perfect size for the kids.  We saw all sorts of fun animals and even got to take a train ride.  A fun morning for all!

First Carousel Ride

It rained alot while we were in Texas due to Hurricane Hermine.  One Tuesday we went to the mall to walk around with the kids and get out of the house.  We all had ice cream while we were there and I discovered that Sage likes Mint Chocolate Chip!   We went on her first carousel ride and she loved it! 

Swings on a Hot Walker

While at the ranch the kids all got to swing on a hot walker. A hot walker is a machine that walks horses to help them cool down. But while we were at the ranch the hot walker had three swings hanging from it. Who knew how much fun one could have on a hot walker.  It was great, the parents and grandparents all got a break and the kids got to swing.  Needless to say the kids used the swings alot the week we were at the ranch.

Surprises!

There were many surprises for the kids at the Ranch!  The kids were spoiled with all the wonderful surprises.  One of those surprises were ride on toys for Sage and Finn and a bike for Sloan!  These provided hours of entertainment for the kids.

Trip to the Ranch

We spent the Labor Day holiday at the Ranch in Texas with Reese's family.  It was a great trip!  We were there for a week and had a wonderful time.  Reese's brother, Russ was there with his family as well.  Sage had so much fun with her cousins, Finn and Sloan.   Lots of fun pictures and stories to post!

Climbing...

Sage is climbing everything in sight!  She loves to pull up on anything.  She also loves anything with a texture.  The first picture is a little dresser in her room and she loves to feel it.  She also loves the rug in our foyer.  It is a bamboo rug and it takes her forever to go from the living room to the dining room since she has to feel the rug on the way. 

Exercise Ball

We were playing around the other day and Sage found a new toy - the exercise ball.  She was having a ton of fun with her newest discovery.  Thanks Aunt Jane for the cute onesie she has on and the pink capris are a hand-me-down from Sloan - thanks Aunt Faith!
