Nap Time

This was the sight that greeted me after Sage's first morning nap.  She is such a happy girl when she wakes up!  I love her grin! Her crib has a new look with the green breathable bumpers, as you can see in the picture below.  Sage has been moving around so much in her crib she was getting stuck.  We put the bumpers on the crib on Sunday.  Her favorite spot to get stuck was the corner with both of her legs sticking out the slats of the crib.  She let us know very quickly when she got stuck with very loud cries.  She is our very vocal girl - wonder where she gets that:)

Congrats Brian!

We had a great weekend with our family.  My cousin Brian graduated from law school on Saturday - we are so proud of you Brian!   What an exciting day Saturday was as we watched Brian graduate.  There was a party after and we all had a great time.  Sage was so good all weekend, she was even quiet at the graduation.  We stayed at Terri and Nick's for the weekend.  Thanks for having us!  Here is the one picture I took this weekend.

Johnny Jump Up

Jimmy Buffett concert

What a great time we all had at the concert.   It was tons of fun to see everybody and the concert was good to.  I would have been happy just tailgating all day and spending time with our friends.  It had been about 10 years since I had been to a Buffett concert.  Reese had never been to one - it is definitely an experience.  Here are a few pictures from the day.  I would have posted these earlier but I couldn't find my camera for the last six days.  It was still in the car!

Busy

It has been over a week since my last post.  Sorry for the delay!  We have had a very busy week.  We had lots of visitors over the weekend.  Nana and Aunt Terri were here, as well as Shelley and her family.  Some friends were here to - Jen & John and Crystal & Andy.  Nana and Terri were visiting so all the parents could go to the Jimmy Buffett concert - a post on that later!  Thanks for watching Sage so Reese and I could have a day/night out!  We had a great time with all our visitors.  Here is Nana with Corvin and Sage.  They were enjoying a few books in Sage's room. 

Standing

Sage has been loving her exersaucer.  I think it is because she stands while she is in it.  She loves being upright.  Here she is chomping away on one of the toys on the exersaucer.  We have a feeling she may be teething.

Happy Birthday Corvin!

Today is Corvin's 3rd birthday!  We hope you have a great birthday Corvin - Happy Birthday!   Here are a few pictures from his birthday party a few weeks ago.  It was a train themed party and Corvin was loving it!  We had a great time at the party.  

Stacking Cups

Reese got out the stacking cups last week and Sage loves them.  Here is a picture of her from Friday enjoying her new toy.  On Friday night Reese and I had another date night.  We went to a Pearl Jam concert.  It was lots of fun except for the weather.  It was storming and they delayed the show for almost 2 hours.  It was a late night for us - but a fun night!  Thanks Melissa for watching Sage!

Mother's Day

I hope all you Mom's out there had a wonderful Mother's Day.  I enjoyed my first Mother's Day and spent all day with Reese and Sage!!  Mom, I hope you had a good day.  Thanks for being such a good example of a Mom for me.  I hope I am as good a Mom to Sage.  Love you!

Stroller

This evening we took a family walk!   It was wonderful - it has been a long time since all three of us have been on a walk together.  We had a great time and Sage really enjoyed the walk.  This was the first time she was in her stroller without being in her car seat.  She loved it!   She was looking around and taking it all in.  What a fun night.  I am writing this as I am listening to Sage put herself to sleep.  She was making a lot of noise and I just went in to check on her, she had rolled over in her crib!   The first time she has done that.  She kind of looked at me like Help me Mom, I'm on my belly and I'm stuck!  It is amazing how much I love that little one.

Happy Girl

I was making dinner yesterday and Reese was keeping Sage occupied.  She was having so much fun and being such a happy girl I had to snap a few pictures - here is the best one. 

Gardening

Today Sage and I did a little gardening!  What fun we had!   We planted Basil, Parsley, Thyme and Jalapenos (the jalapenos are for Reese!) 

Reading

Being read to is one of Sage's favorite activities!   She is starting to help turn the pages of the books.  The other day she ripped her first page in one of her books!  Here are Reese and Sage this morning reading one of our favorites - Moo, Baa, La La La - thanks Elise for this fun book!
